Event Information

When: July 3rd and 4th

Where: 1001 Market St (see map), easily accessible from State Highway 146, Texas Avenue exit, and from Interstate 10, Spur 330 exit. Ample parking is available at Lee College and other nearby facilities.

Cost: FREE Admission!

Events include live concerts including John Michael Montgomery, The Bellamy Brothers and more, also Baytown's Fireworks Extravaganza and a 4th of July Parade with festive floats, military vehicles, decorative cars and local dance and cheer groups.

The Baytown Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present their annual July 4th Parade down Market Street and Lee Drive. Festive floats, military vehicles, classic cars, and local dance and cheer groups, and school bands will display their patriotism while decorated in red, white and blue! The Parade will kick-off the July 4th Celebration this year beginning at 5:30 p.m.


Parade Award Categories

Awards will be given for each category. Awards will be available for pick-up the following Monday of the parade. Results will also be submitted to media outlets for printing.

Additional Information

  • Tons of food booths selling tasty treats and appetizing creations throughout the day.
  • Arts & craft enthusiasts and local businesses will be on hand displaying their talents and services.
  • A children’s amusement area is sure to keep the kids occupied for hours. Features of this area include inflatable moonwalks and slides, game booths, a petting zoo, a kiddie train ride, and a fish pond (with real fish!).
  • Our annual parade displaying the “red, white and blue” will include festive floats, military vehicles, decorative cars and local dance and cheer groups will march down Market Street and Lee Drive for spectators to watch.
  • The event will conclude with a bang with our spectacular fireworks show that everyone will be talking about for days!
  • Bring your lawn chairs, some sun screen and a lot of energy to join us for the entire day.


Be a vendor at the event!

Music isn't the only thing going on at Bicentennial Park - there will be a wide variety of food and arts and craft booths on site selling tasty treats and handmade creations. There will also be a children's amusement area complete with a petting zoo, fishing tank, wetlands touch tank, a climbing wall and many other activities to keep the young ones busy.
