Getting the Hazards Out of Your Home

The City of Baytown will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste/Electronics Waste Collection Saturday, April 29, from 9 am - 2 pm.  This free event will be held at the City of Baytown Storage Facility, located at 1200 Lee Drive.

Residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste materials such as paints, pesticides and fertilizers, motor oil and filters, antifreeze, gasoline, household cleaners and solvents, car batteries or pool chemicals. Products brought for disposal should be brought in their original containers, and should not be mixed with other products. Please mark any unknown products. No commercial e-waste will be accepted.

Residents may also dispose of electronic wastes such as televisions, computers and accessories, stereo, fax machines and other A/V equipment, at the same location.

For more information call the Baytown Health Department at 281-420-5384.
