Spring Break Nature Camp Goes Green

With Spring Break coming up soon, parents will be looking for opportunities to keep the kids occupied during the week off from school. Baytown Parks and Recreation is offering the perfect solution - spring break nature day camp, March 12 – 16.

The Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education Center at 1724 Market Street in Baytown is continuing its tradition of offering the most exciting spring break camp in town. This camp will keep kids happy with exciting activities planned, including daily field trips to places of interest all over the Houston/Baytown/Galveston area.

This year’s “Green Planet” camp shows campers in grades 4-6 ways of keeping Mother Earth beautiful and clean. They will explore water, land and air during this week of appreciating Earth’s natural beauty.

Each camp day begins at 8 am and ends at 4 pm. The cost to attend is $150 per child. Transportation to all field trip destinations and daily snacks are included, and campers should bring their own lunches to enjoy in various locations around the area as they are out and about on field trips

Make this the best spring break ever by registering for Spring into Nature: Green Planet Camp. More information and registration forms are available here.  Registration begins February 12.
