Alcoholic Beverage Permit

- Contact the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) for application 713.880.3003.
- File completed application with the City Clerk's Office;
- Inspectors will do on-site inspections.
- Inspectors will notify City Clerk of approval.
- City Clerk will sign off on the TABC applications and call the client to pick up the applications or mail them.
- When the state license is received, bring the license or temporary receipt or a copy to the City Clerk's Office to pay the city fee which is one-half of the state fee.
- Each year thereafter, renew the city fee when the state permit is renewed.
- The City Receipt should be posted with state permit.
- Notify the City Clerk's Office of change of name, owner, type of license, or closing of business. Reference Baytown Code of Ordinances §6-1 through §6-34.
