What are Pirates Bay’s days of operation?
Pirates Bay will be open for the 2017 season, May 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 26-August 20, August 26-27, and September 2-4.
What are the admission prices for Pirates Bay?
General admission is $20 for guests 48 inches tall and over and $15 for guests under 48 inches tall. Children 2 and under are free. After 4 PM from May 30-August 17, all guests enjoy $10 admission (Mon-Thurs Only) (OFFER NOT VALID ON JULY 3, 4 , 5).
Does Pirates Bay offer season passes?
Pirates Bay offers season passes at $95 each for residents of Baytown. Once a family purchases more than 2, each additional pass is $75.
Non-Resident season passes are on sale for $135 each. Once a family purchase more than 2, each additional pass is $115.
How long are my tickets valid?
Tickets are only valid for the season that they are issued. All tickets are single use and are non-refundable.
Does Pirates Bay have a dress code?
We ask that our Guests dress appropriately for our family environment. Proper swimwear is required for all water park attractions. Denim and swimwear with zippers, buckles, or rivets are not permitted on water park attractions. Clothing with offensive material will not be permitted inside the park. Please refrain from displaying undergarments or wearing low-riding garments. Clothing or accessories that contain or display anything that can be construed as gang colors or a gang emblem are not permitted.
Are children required to wear swim diapers?
Children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper while in the water
Are guests allowed to bring outside coolers into the park?
Guests may bring outside coolers into Pirates Bay. Glass bottles, serving knives and alcohol are prohibited. Pirates Bay does not charge for coolers to be brought into the park.
Are outside floatation devices allowed in the park?
Outside floatation devices are prohibited except for US Coast Guard approved lifejackets and infant and toddler floatation devices with a parent within arms reach.
Does Pirates Bay have lifejackets available for use?
Pirates Bay has a limited number of free lifejackets that are offered on a first come/first served basis.
Do you allow drones in the park?
Use of drones (in, over, or around the waterpark), whether for photographic purposes or otherwise, is strictly prohibited (unless the user has been granted written, contractual permission for that specific instance from an officer of the waterpark). Violations may subject the user to immediate ejection, confiscation of the drone, and referral of the matter to authorities. Drones are a serious safety hazard to ride operations, park operations (including electrical facilities), and to the park’s guests and personnel. Use of drones in, over or around the park, also constitutes an illegal trespass, an invasion of the park’s privacy, and tortious interference to our operations.
Does Pirates Bay have lockers available?
Lockers are available in a variety of sizes and range in price from $7-$10 for daily use.
Do guests that choose not to swim still have to pay admission?
All guests entering Pirates Bay must pay the admission fee.
Is smoking/vaping allowed in the park?
Smoking/vaping is not allowed inside Pirates Bay

What is Pirates Bay’s severe weather policy?
Due to severe weather, Pirates Bay may be forced to shut down attractions until it is safe to resume operations. Pirates Bay does not offer rain checks or refunds for severe weather.
Can I re-enter the park if I leave?
There is a no re-entry policy once guests leave the park.
Does Pirates Bay have reservable party areas?

Can I reserve Pirates Bay exclusively for a party, function or gathering?
Pirates Bay is available for rentals on most evenings from 8 PM-12 AM.
Does Pirates Bay have shade, tables and chairs?
Pirates Bay provides tables, chairs and shade on a first come, first served basis. While it is first come, first served, guests are not allowed to block off multiple tables to host a party in a non-rental area.
Are pets allowed inside of Pirates Bay?
No Animals. Animals of any kind (e.g., dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, lizards, snakes, pigs, hamsters, turtles, birds, tarantulas, rats, mice, monkeys, ferrets, mini-horses, etc.) are not allowed in the park, except for legally-defined service dogs or as may otherwise be required by law to assist those with disabilities (“disabilities” being defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act or other applicable laws). If you claim to have a legally qualifying “service dog” you will be required to verify its legitimacy. A “service animal” is defined by law, and not by a person’s personal desires. For example, a “companion” animal, or an animal that brings “emotional comfort,” or a dog, which serves as “personal security,” does not qualify as a legal “service animal.”
Even if a “service animal” is verified, and allowed to enter the park, please be aware that you are still responsible for controlling it at all times. A service animal is also prohibited from all rides, because rides are built for people, and because animals cannot be safely contained or restrained on amusement rides, they would thereby pose a serious safety hazard. Animals are also prohibited from going into or on any water ride or attractions, because of hygiene concerns, in addition to safety concerns.
Please understand that we may require removal of your service animal from park property if it poses a threat to persons or property, including without limitation, if it is unruly, threatening, aggressive (barking, snarling, biting at patrons, etc.) and/or if you are unable to control your animal at all times.
You must make sure that your service animal has gone to the bathroom before coming to the Park. Once at the Park, if your animal needs to “go,” please do your best to steer the animal to an area off to the side on a grassy area, away from other patrons, if possible. We encourage you to ask a staff member to where your animal might be directed.
It is prohibited to leave animals in a car while patrons enjoy the Park; in such event, animal control (or other government authority) may be called, and your car forcibly entered into, in order to attend to the health or safety needs of an animal. You will have to pay all such costs involved in the rescue of any pet left in a car, and may face animal cruelty charges from local authorities.
Does Pirates Bay have a gift shop?
Yes, the Black Pearl sells shirts, towels, swim diapers and more.
Is Pirates Bay accessible for the disabled?

Pirates Bay does not allow guests to bring tents or umbrellas that must be anchored to the ground into the park due to the underground piping throughout the park. Chairs may be brought in.

Can I have decorations? Can I get in early to decorate?
Decorations are allowed and guests can start decorating their area at the specified rental time.
Is admission for my guests included in the rental fee?
Admission to Pirates Bay is not included in the rental fee.
How do my guests enter Pirates Bay for a party?
Party hosts can buy tickets for their guests the Pirates Bay ticket office and provide a guest list at the front gate or they can require guests to purchase their own tickets.
Do you accomodate for Food Allergies?
As much as we would like to accommodate guests with food allergies, we are not the food manufacturers/suppliers (we get all food and beverage product from third parties), and as such, we regret to inform you that THE PARK CANNOT, AND DOES NOT, MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR GUARANTEES WHATSOEVER REGARDING THE ALLERGY-FREE CONTENTS OF ANY FOODS OR BEVERAGES. At a minimum, guests with allergy concerns should avoid any foods or beverages unless they are packaged, and you are 100% confident in the manufacturer/supplier which has provided the Park with such food or beverage. Foods that are in any way unpackaged, prepared, or handled by the Park (as opposed to packaged goods, provided to you in a sealed package), have a higher risk of contamination with other products containing allergens, so in the interests of your safety, we strongly urge you to avoid all such unpackaged products provided by the Park.
Can I bring in beach balls, soccer balls, baseballs, footballs, etc?
Out of concern for the safety of our guests, we do not allow any sporting equipment into the park.
