It’s almost summer, and that means Pirates Bay Waterpark has once again opened its gates for those seeking the excitement of water slides, the relaxation of the lazy river and the entertainment of dive-in movies and beach parties. But those familiar with the park will notice a very big addition - in the form of a totally new and exciting slide tower.
New for the  2017 season,  Pirates Bay is bigger and better than ever due to the inclusion of two new thrill slides - the “Aqualoop” and the “Aquadrop!”

Not for the faint at heart, the brand new 57 ft slide tower (the tallest in the park), hosts the near vertical, straight down dropping Aquadrop and the Aqua Loop - the world’s first and only looping and inverting waterslide leaving riders exhilarated and breathless. Both rides score a 5/5 on the thrill scale.

Inside the launch capsules, facing forward, arms crossed, anticipation peaks as riders wait for the trap doors to open below into an intense vertical free fall. The biggest thrill coming from sliding into the Aqualoop’s loop with speeds (up to 18 miles per second).

Park gates will open for the spring season on May 6, with weekend hours only. The park opens daily beginning May 27, and will be open daily from 11 a.m.  - 7 p.m.

Ticket prices remain the same from last year - $20 per person (48” and above) and $15 (under 48’).
Season tickets are a great deal for guests who intend on multiple visits to the water park.

Baytown residents can purchase individual passes for $95 ($135 for non-residents). Family passes are also available at a significant discount from one-time passes. Group rates are also available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.baytown.org. Party pavilions are available for rent.
