The Crosby High School theatre department will perform an original work, Cenerentola. Cenerentola is a rendition of the classic tale Cinderella in the theatrical style of Commedia dell’Arte, an italian style that is reminiscent of the Looney Tunes. The cast performing is the original cast that performed the same show at the annual Texas Renaissance Festival in 2010. This performance will be a reunion for many since most the actors have graduated high school and are now in college. CHS Theatre is excited to perform in this venue and are always looking for new ways to reach out to the public. The troupe hopes to use the performance as a way to promote theatre as an art and its relevance in schools today. Admission $3.00 to the Nature Center, Limited Seating, Lawn chairs recommended.
