The Administration/Support Division is located at the Fire Administration building, 201 East Wye Drive. The responsibilities of this division include: support of the Fire Chief; preparation and maintenance of accounting and budget items; preparation of city council agenda items; maintenance of department statistics; support of department technology needs; Civil Service administration; training; safety; liaison with local petrochemical plants; hazardous materials; selection, hiring and retention of qualified emergency personnel; and the design, specifications, construction and maintenance of all department facilities, apparatus, vehicles and equipment. This division consists of two Battalion Chiefs (training/safety and staff services), an administrative assistant, secretary and three emergency vehicle technicians.
