The Investigative Bureau is responsible in two areas:
- Follow up on assigned cases originally handled by Patrol Bureau
- Initiate and investigate violations relating to narcotics, vice, or any other offense where an officer must go "undercover."
The Investigative Bureau consists of the Criminal Investigations Division and the Narcotics Division. Both divisions are commanded by Captain Johnny E. Erikson. Included in this Bureau is Identification Division. Divisions can be reached by e-mail or phone.
