The Patrol Bureau is responsible for providing safety and security to the citizenry of Baytown. There are sixty-six (66) positions of uniformed Patrol Officers and eight (8) Reserve Officers proactively patrolling the City streets 24 hours per day. In addition, the Patrol Bureau supervises six (6) Community Service Officers, which are civilians hired to handle "walk in" reports and questions from the general public.
