Public Notice to Boil Water Rescinded

On May 8, 2009, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the City of Baytown /1010003 to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to notify our customers of the need to boil water prior to consumption, due to an Acute Maximum Contaminant Level of E. Coli.

Our system has taken the necessary actions to ensure an acceptable bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.
