The City of Baytown will pick up this year's Christmas trees Monday through Thursday, January 7th through January 17th.
The Street and Drainage Division of the Public Works Department will pick up natural Christmas trees beginning Monday, January 7th through Thursday, January 10th and from January 14th through January 17th. Please place the trees for crews to pick up at the curbside by 8 a.m. in order to assist with an orderly removal as crews will only make one pass through the community to remove these trees.
Collected trees will be recycled or placed in the landfill. Recycling will be accomplished through chipping and used by the Parks Department in landscaping projects throughout the City's park system, thereby providing an environmentally responsible use of these trees. For this reason, please remove tinsel, garland and other decorative material before disposing of trees in order that recycled material be of the highest quality possible.
