Unidad Park’s New Skate Park Dedication and Ribbon Cutting

The City of Baytown and Harris County Precinct Two announce that the Baytown Parks and Recreation Department will officially open the new Baytown Skate Park #2 at 5:30 on Tuesday, June 3, 2008. The skate park is located at Unidad Park, 2510 J.B. Le Fevre Road.

The new skate park will include a concrete bowl along with a half pipe and several grinding rails that will challenge both novice and experienced skaters. The lighted facility will also include a shaded seating area and water fountain. The project is jointly funded by the Baytown Municipal Development District and Harris County Precinct Two Commissioner Sylvia Garcia. The Skate Park is open daily until 10 pm.

The celebration will include free event t-shirts to the first 100 that attend and refreshments will be served.
