Spray Park to Close for Winter

October 21, 2009

Roseland Spray Park ends its eighth successful season on Sunday, November 1, at 8 p.m. The Spray Park is scheduled to reopen Saturday, March 13, 2010 (the day before the first day of Daylight Saving Time) at 10 a.m., and will remain open through Sunday, November 8, 2010.

The popular water park first opened on May 1, 2002. The facility is open 8 months out of the year and admission is free.

Roseland Spray Park, located at 100 Roseland Drive, replaced the 52-year-old Roseland Park pool. It was the first Baytown Municipal Development District funded project, and includes two picnic shelters, a vending depot, a bench (beach?) arbor, public restrooms, and convenient parking.
