The City of Baytown works with the local youth sports organizations to offer a variety of sports opportunities to local youth. Representatives from each of the leagues also serve on the Youth Sports Council, to improve the promotion and communication amongst the leagues. Below is a brief overview of programs.

Track
This program is for boys and girls ages 8 to 18. Registration fee includes a team t-shirt, TAAF sanctioning fees, and registration to local and regional meets.

The Youth Sports Council was formed to promote, enhance, and improve the youth sports programs in the Baytown community. The council is comprised of representatives from the City of Baytown Parks and Recreation Department, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Baytown Central Little League, Baytown East Little League, Baytown North Little League, Baytown West Little League, Baytown Girls Fast Pitch Softball Association, Baytown Optimist Football, Baytown Saints Soccer, Baytown YMCA, Lee College, and Goose Creek Independent School District.
