The City of Baytown Health department operates a Harris County approved walk-in site for adult probationers that are required to perform court ordered community service. The probationers are assigned to the City of Baytown Health department’s Community Service Program by the court and are ordered to perform a specific number of community service work hours within a specific timeframe in lieu of payment of fines. The Program utilizes the assigned probationers to clean and pick-up litter and trash along city streets, alleys, ditches, right of ways, and mow/maintain City foreclosed lots from 8 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
