Shon Blake, Fire Chief

Shon Blake was appointed Fire Chief October 27, 2004. Chief Blake has worked for Baytown since 1976 and worked his way through the ranks to Fire Chief. He is a member of the National Fire Service Incident Management System Consortium. Chief Blake has participated in the publication of six Model Procedures Guides for the Nation's Fire Service. He is also a principal member of The National Fire Protection Association's Technical Committee on Occupational Safety and Health Standards. Additionally he serves on The Texas Commission for Fire Protection Ad-Hoc Committee on Wellness and Fitness.
