A.J Matthews Golf Tournament

co-workers have helped sponsor the A. J. Matthews Memorial Golf Tournament in memory of Dianne’s late husband A. J. Matthews. The tournament benefited the Baytown Police D.A.R.E. program. The Baytown Police Department wishes to thank the Matthews Family for their continued support and privilege of working with them for so many years, and continue to offer our support.

Bicycle Registration
Bicycle registration is beneficial to the police department in identifying the owner of a stolen bicycle when the bicycle is recovered. The registration form includes a description of the bicycle, the serial number of the bicycle and the owner’s information. When the form is completed and turned in to the police department, a registration number is assigned to that bicycle and a decal with the number is issued to the owner to place on the bicycle. The information from the registration is entered into the PD Database. When a bicycle is recovered, the serial number is checked in the database to see if the bicycle has been reported as stolen.
