Domestic Violence Unit and Victim Services

The Domestic Violence Unit and Victim Services of the Baytown Police Department is committed to improving law enforcement Responses to domestic violence, while also reducing the trauma of victimization for Persons involved in domestic violence incidents in our community.  In addition, the Unit provides assistance to victims of all violent crimes, including but not limited to murder, sexual assault, assault and robbery.

It is the goal of this unit to provide a comprehensive continuum of Services to Victims of all violent crimes against persons, from immediate crisis intervention to all related follow-up services including but not limited to: Criminal justice support, legal and personal advocacy, locating Emergency Financial assistance through local and state agencies, And appropriate community referrals for related services such as Short and long-term Housing and counseling.
