Law Enforcement Police Memorial

We Will Always Remember and Never Forget!  In honor of 2005 National Law Enforcement Week, the Baytown Police Department will be hosting a Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Service at San Jacinto Mall to honor fellow officers killed in the line of duty this past year.  The ceremony will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a bagpiper performance and a procession of officers representing various law enforcement organizations in Texas. 

A proclamation will be read by Mayor Calvin Mundinger, followed by a few words from City Manager, Gary Jackson and Baytown Police Chief, Byron Jones.  The program will conclude with the Posting of the Memorial Wreath and the Roll Call of Honor.  A ceremony program will be provided at the event.  Please join us to honor, remember and support those who lost their lives while protecting ours.
