Law Enforcement Police Memorial

We Will Always Remember and Never Forget!  In honor of 2009 National Law Enforcement Week, the Baytown Police Department will be hosting a Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Service at the Community Center, 2407 Market St., to honor fellow officers killed in the line of duty this past year.  The ceremony will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a bagpiper performance and a procession of officers representing various law enforcement organizations in Texas. 

A proclamation will be read by Mayor Steve Don Carlos, followed by a few words from City Manager, Garry Brumback and Baytown Police Chief, Keith Dougherty.  The program will conclude with the Posting of the Memorial Wreath and the Roll Call of Honor.  A ceremony program will be provided at the event.  Please join us to honor, remember and support those who lost their lives while protecting ours.
