D.A.R.E. Graduation - David Crockett Elementary

2003

Crockett Elementary held their 2002-2003 D.A.R.E. graduation on Thursday, December 19, 2002 at 8:30am. Teachers, Counselor, Principals, and guest officers congratulated the students on their accomplishment. The Students worked very hard for 17 weeks to complete their student workbook and complete their lessons.

5th Grade students wait with anticipation as they are about to go up on stage to receive their D.A.R.E. t-shirt, sponsored by their P.T.O. and their D.A.R.E. certificate. The students worked very hard to earn both.

D.A.R.E. essay representatives this year are overall class winner/Shelby Rodriguez, Daren The D.A.R.E. Lion winner/Tiffany Thompson, Jared Barrientes, Monica Gonzalez, Demetria Freeman, and D.A.R.E. instructor/Officer Maggie Hinojosa.

The students also gave a wonderful musical presentation.  Crockett music teacher, Ms. Odell worked very hard with them to prepare them, and directed them through their presentation.

2002

Teachers Congratulated the students as they picked up thier D.A.R.E. Certificates. From right to left-Laura Brumley, Principal Betty O'Sullivan, Cheryl Roeschen, Ms. Hernandez, and Mrs. Ferguson.

Crockett Music teacher Ms. Odell lead the D.A.R.E. graduates in the songs they sang for D.A.R.E. graduation.

2001

On Monday, December 18th 2000 Crockett Elementary held its D.A.R.E. graduation ceremony in the gym. The ceremony began at 1:00 p.m. and lasted approximately an hour and a half. Approximately 90 5th grade students were awarded certificates of achievement and a D.A.R.E. t-shirt. D.A.R.E. essay winners Cydney Whitley, Mark Rendon, Frank Frazier III., Jesus Estrada, and overall class winner Jacob Miller, read their essays for the parents and 4th graders in attendance.
Officer Maggie Hinojosa, D.A.R.E. instructor, addressed the graduating D.A.R.E. class from Crockett Elementary and wished the students well for their future goals and plans.
