The dedicated men and women of the Baytown Police Department are truly professionals who have committed their lives in service to their friends and neighbors.

On our web site, you will find our Mission Statement. This is our direction to work together to keep all citizens and visitors to our city, safe and secure. We strive to fairly enforce the law, while retaining compassion toward our fellow man and the circumstances in which we meet.

The police department is a full service agency of sworn police officers, and 52-support personnel. The department is divided into 4-Bureaus, each of which is under the command of a Bureau Captain. We have a variety of assignments within each of the Bureaus. We feel that it is important through training and experience that we develop our employees to fullest of their abilities. I feel that there is no better compliment to a supervisor, than when one of their employees is able to grow and become successful within the organization.
