  • Porch/patio covers, awnings & carports
  • Storage sheds exceeding 120 sq. ft.
  • Fences
  • Lawn sprinklers systems
  • Pools, hot tubs & spas
  • Driveways & driveway extensions
    (Minimum Driveway Standards)
  • Room additions
  • Attached & detached garages
  • Accessory buildings
  • Heating & A/C installations or replacements
  • Patio enclosures
  • Solar panels
  • Gas lines
  • Plumbing work
  • Electrical work
  • Replacing windows or doors
  • Replacing siding
  • Replacement or repair of any structural component
  • Heating & A/C installations or replacements
  • Water heater installations or replacements
  • Boiler installation or replacements
  • Gas log, gas lines, log lighters
  • Fireplaces (wood, pellet, or gas)
  • Remodeling
  • Electrical work
  • Plumbing work
  • Mechanical work
  • Structural modifications
  • Replacement or repair of any structural component
  • Installation or replacement of windows and/or doors
  • Increased window or door sizes

Do Not Require Permits

  • General landscaping
  • Concrete sidewalks (on private property)
  • Concrete porches/patio’s (without roofs)
  • Wood decks less than 30” above grade (without cover & must be anchored properly to resist uplift). Painting
  • Minor roof repairs (1 square or less)
  • Minor fence repair
  • Painting
  • Floor covering (carpet, linoleum & tile)
  • Wallpapering
  • Replacing plumbing fixtures
  • Replacing cabinets & counter tops
  • Adding insulation
  • Changing light fixtures, switches or outlets
