This project would replace the existing valves on the ground storage tanks with new valves with actuators.
The existing valves are in need of replacement due to age. The new valves are not only necessary to operate the plant during emergencies such as the Valentines Day storm of 2021 they will add the ability to operate the valves from inside the plant building. These valves are considered large and need the actuators for not only operational control but also for operational maintenance.
