Parks Operations Service Center

The original facility was built in 1973 for a staff of 18 people, and currently the staff size has more than doubled to 40. The current building will be repurposed for secure storage of small equipment and supplies. The current building does not have adequate space for an employee training and computer access area and has no break room. The existing building lacks material inventory storage and supervisory staff areas are cramped and inadequate for supervisory activities. Current funding for FY 2019 budget fund only covered the building due to engineer and poor soil conditions at the facility. The current proposal includes funding for furniture equipment, pavement for parking drives, fire lanes, dumpster pads necessary for park operations.
