Our Tween programs are designed for those kids who have outgrown story times... but aren’t quite ready for Teen programs. Tween Librarian Lu designs special programs just for kids ages 8-12. For more information Email Lu Wright.
Tween Craft Nights
Tween Craft nights are hosted on the first Monday of every month at 6pm in the library’s front meeting room. Tweens are invited to participate in a new seasonal craft each month to spark their creativity and imagination.
Beginner Book Club
The Beginner Book Club is designed with kids age 7-9 in mind. It meets on the second Monday of the month at 5pm. Free copies of the featured book of the month are available on a first come, first served basis.
Tween Book Club
The Tween Book Club is designed with kids age 10-12 in mind. It meets on the second Monday of the month at 6pm. Free copies of the featured book of the month are available on a first come, first served basis.
LEGO Night
LEGO night builds fun memories for kids and families alike! Each LEGO night challenges participants to create something that falls within a certain theme. The brick fun begins on the third Monday of every month at 6pm.
STEM Night
STEM night teaches kids about different concepts from science, technology, engineering, or math in a way that encourages discovery and learning... while having fun. These workshops are held on the fourth Monday of every month at 6pm.
