Smoke Detector

SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVESsmokedetector

The Baytown Fire Department, in cooperation with Enbridge, would like to see every house within the Baytown area have a working smoke detector. Free of Charge!

If you live in the City limits of Baytown or the Baytown Fire Department's first due response area and own a single-family house, not rental property, and do not have a working smoke detector, please fill out the smoke detector application and submit the form. A fire department representative will contact you to schedule an appointment to have an engine company install a working smoke detector in your house.

Senior Citizens that have an issue with their smoke detector may contact the fire department at 281-422-2311 to have their smoke detector inspected or the battery replaced.
