New Rule for 2023
Guests may bring in one cooler per group with food and factory sealed beverages.
Prohibited items:
- Restaurant food (fast food, pizza, etc)
- Catering trays
- Glass
- Knives
- Alcohol
All bags and coolers are subject to search at the front gate.
If guests choose to use a food delivery service while at the park, they must pick up and eat the food outside the gates before re-entering.
Chairs, wagons, stroller wagons, umbrellas, or carts may NOT be brought in. Strollers with children ARE permitted.
- Where is Pirates Bay located?

Pirates Bay is located at 5300 East Road in Baytown (at the Wayne Gray Sports Complex), between Garth and North Main.
- Does Pirates Bay have life jackets available for use?

Complimentary lifejackets are available for daily use on a first come, first serve basis.
- Does Pirates Bay have lockers available?

Lockers are available in a variety of sizes in the front and back of the park and range in price from $8-$13 for daily use.
- What happens if I lose something at Pirates Bay?

Pirates Bay keeps lost and found items in the First Aid office for 72 hours. Please Email Pirates Bay to identify an item you may have lost at the park.
- Does Pirates Bay have a gift shop?

Yes, the Shipwreck Souvenir Shop sells souvenirs, tank tops, children's rash guards, sun screen, sun glasses, snacks, towels, waterproof phone cases, swim diapers and more.
- Is Pirates Bay accessible for the disabled?

Pirates Bay strives to assist guest with disabilities. Please speak to a supervisor about any needs you may have, or call us before your visit at 281-422-1150.
- Does Pirates Bay have lifeguards on duty?

American Red Cross Certified lifeguards are always on duty during operating hours.
- Does Pirates Bay have an ATM?

Pirates Bay does not have an ATM.
- Where is First Aid at Pirates Bay?

First aid is located at the middle of the park near the beach. The building is identified with a red First Aid sign.
- Does Pirates Bay charge for parking?

No, parking is always free at Pirates Bay.
- What if my party gets separated at Pirates Bay?

If you have lost a member of your group, please notify a Supervisor. Supervisors can be identified by their blue polo shirts and radios.
- Does Pirates Bay donate tickets to local organizations?

Local organizations with a 501(c)3 tax exempt form may request donations from Pirates Bay by Emailing Pirates Bay.
- Does Pirates Bay accommodate for food allergies?

As much as we would like to accommodate guests with food allergies, we are not the food manufacturers/suppliers (we get all food and beverage product from third parties), and as such, we regret to inform you that the park cannot, and does not, make any representations or guarantees regarding the allergy-free contents of any foods or beverages. At a minimum, guests with allergy concerns should avoid any foods or beverages unless they are packaged, and you are 100% confident in the manufacturer/supplier which has provided the Park with such food or beverage. Foods that are in any way unpackaged, prepared, or handled by the Park (as opposed to packaged goods, provided to you in a sealed package), have a higher risk of contamination with other products containing allergens.
- Does Pirates Bay offer season passes?

- How long are my tickets valid?

Tickets are valid for the 2023 season. Online tickets do not guarantee entry for a specific date.

- Does Pirates Bay have a dress code?

We ask that our Guests dress appropriately for our family environment. Clothing with offensive material, thong bikinis, or other revealing swimwear will not be permitted inside the park. Please refrain from displaying undergarments or wearing low-riding garments. Anyone entering the water or using a Water Park attraction must be attired in a swimsuit and/or rash guard. An appropriate swimsuit is defined as a swim garment with an affixed/sewn inner lining that is marketed and sold as a swimsuit. Inappropriate attire may damage our pumps, attractions, and chemicals. Gym shorts, cotton clothing, denim, and swim wear with zippers, buckles, or rivets are not permitted on Water Park attractions. Lifeguard gear or other insignia is not allowed for liability reasons.
- Are children required to wear swim diapers?

Children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper and cover or swimsuit while in the water.
- Are outside flotation devices allowed in the park?

No outside inflatable flotation devices will be permitted (Tubes/Rafts/Water Wings/Etc.) This also includes baby or toddler rafts or floats and pool noodles. Lifejackets must be U.S Coast Guard approved, and should be worn by weak swimmers.
- What is Pirates Bay's weather policy?

Pirates Bay will remain open during periods of rain. However, operations will be temporarily suspended if there is lightning or other severe weather conditions in the area. Attractions will re-open as soon as conditions permit. During heavy rain or storms some and/or all slides may be shut down temporarily for your safety. Absolutely no refunds on daily tickets.
- Is smoking/ vaping allowed at the park?

Pirates Bay is a smoke-free environment. We ask that guests refrain from both smoking and vaping within the park and in our front gate area.
- Can I bring chairs, tents, or umbrellas into Pirates Bay?

No outside tents, umbrellas, tables, chairs, wagons, or carts may be brought into the park.
- Are pets allowed inside of Pirates Bay?

No Animals. Animals of any kind (e.g., dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, lizards, snakes, pigs, hamsters, turtles, birds, tarantulas, rats, mice, monkeys, ferrets, mini-horses, etc.) are not allowed in the park, except for legally-defined service dogs or as may otherwise be required by law to assist those with disabilities (“disabilities” being defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act or other applicable laws). A “service animal” is defined by law, and not by a person’s personal desires. For example, a “companion” animal, or an animal that brings “emotional comfort,” or a dog, which serves as “personal security,” does not qualify as a legal “service animal.”
- Can I bring in beach balls, soccer balls, baseballs, footballs, etc.?

Out of concern for the safety of our guests, we do not allow any sporting equipment into the park.
- Do you allow drones in the park?

Use of drones (in, over, or around the waterpark), whether for photographic purposes or otherwise, is strictly prohibited (unless the user has been granted written, contractual permission for that specific instance from an officer of the waterpark). Violations may subject the user to immediate ejection, confiscation of the drone, and referral of the matter to authorities. Drones are a serious safety hazard to ride operations, park operations (including electrical facilities), and to the park’s guests and personnel.
- Can I have decorations? Can I go in early to decorate?

Decorations are allowed in party tents or pavilions that have been rented. Guests may start decorating their area at the specified rental time.
