FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BAYTOWN TO HOST TOWN HALL FOR RECREATION CENTER
City of Baytown Recreation Center Feasibility Study
The City of Baytown is currently studying the feasibility of a new Recreation Center for the City of Baytown residents. As part of the development of the study, an online public survey and a town hall meeting were previously conducted to gather input from residents on the types of indoor spaces and amenities they would like to see in the new facility.
Public input will be gathered at a second Town Hall Meeting to be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 5:30-7:00 PM, at the Baytown Community Center, 2407 Market Street, Baytown, Texas. All residents, business owners, elected officials, and community stakeholders are invited to attend. At the Town Hall Meeting, community members can participate in a come-and-go event regarding the proposed indoor spaces and programs, initial schematic design of the proposed recreation center, and provide feedback regarding the proposal. Conceptual renderings will also be available for review and comment.
