December 10, 2019   Board of Adjustment

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment of the City of Baytown will hold public hearings on December 10, 2019 in the Council Chambers at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, TX, at 4:00 P.M., giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the following applications:

 A variance from the Unified Land Development Code Article III, Division 1, Table 3-1 "Property Development Standards" requesting a variance from the minimum setback for property located at 1200 Market Street, and legally described as Tract 60A Abstract 840 H. Whiting, Harris County, Texas; and

Variances from the Unified Land Development Code Article III, Division 1, Table 3-1 "Property Development Standards" for the property located at 904 N. Ashbel St., and legally described as a portion of Lots 19 20 & 21 Block 27 Martin Subdivision, Harris County, Texas for:

1.the required minimum frontage,

2.the required minimum lot size, and

3.the required minimum setbacks.

Planning and Zoning Commission  NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Baytown will hold public hearings on November 19, 2019, and December 17, 2019, in the Council Chambers at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas, at 5:00 P.M., giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the following items:

(1) the proposed rezoning of approximately 42.06 acres of a 58.7 acre tract, addressed as 7500 Interstate Highway 10, and legally described as Tract 1K Abstract 954 A Smith, Harris County, Texas, from Open space/recreation ("OR") to Light industrial ("LI") zoning district;

(2) the proposed rezoning of approximately 131 acres generally located west of Garth Rd., on both sides of West Cedar Bayou Lynchburg Rd., and east of John Martin Rd. including multiple parcels, all within Baytown, Harris County, Texas, from an Open space/recreation (OR) to General commercial (GC) zoning district; and

(3) the proposed rezoning of approximately 67.82 acres generally located west of North Main St., on the north side of East Wallisville Rd. and legally described as Tracts 36D & 57, Abstract 21 G Ellis, all within Baytown, Harris County, Texas, from an Open space/recreation (OR) a to Mixed residential at low to medium densities (SF2) zoning district.
