Public Hearing notices are posted on the City's notice boards and website, said notices are only maintained on the website until such time as the hearing date has passed.  Original documents are maintained in the City Clerk's Office for the designated retention period.  For more information regarding each notice, please refer to the department information listed on each notice, as the responsible party may vary.

 June 11, 2019  Board of Adjustment NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment of the City of Baytown will hold a public hearing on June 11, 2019 in the Council Chambers at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, TX, at 4:00 P.M., giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the following applications:

(1) a variance from the Unified Land Development Code, Article II, Division 3 "Land Use Tables and Conditions," Section 2.10 "Land Use Conditions," Subsection B "Residential Categories," Item 2 "Accessory Structures" for the size limitations of buildings other than primary structures for the property located at 1616 Oak Street, and legally described as Lots 49 & 50 Block 4 Pelly Section 1, Harris County, Texas.

(2) a variance from the Unified Land Development Code, Article II, Division 2 “Zoning Districts”, Section 2.082 “San Jacinto Overlay District” (d) “Utilities” (3) requesting a variance from the use of regional or sub regional stormwater detention requirement for the property located on the northeast corner of San Jacinto Blvd. and Lone Star Ave, and legally described as Tract 61A Block 19 Highland Farms, Harris County, Texas.

(3) a variance from the Unified Land Development Code, Article II, Division 2 “Zoning Districts”, Section 2.082 “San Jacinto Overlay District” (g) “Property Development Standards” requesting a variance from 60 percent lot coverage requirement for the property located on the northeast corner of San Jacinto Blvd. and Lone Star Ave, and legally described as Tract 61A Block 19 Highland Farms, Harris County, Texas.

(4) a variance from the Unified Land Development Code, Article II, Division 2 “Zoning Districts”, Section 2.082 “San Jacinto Overlay District” (g) “Property Development Standards” (2) “Architectural/ Urban Design Standards” (b) “Materials” requesting a variance from the prohibition of synthetic stucco and/ or EIFS for the property located on the northeast corner of San Jacinto Blvd. and Lone Star Ave, and legally described as Tract 61A Block 19 Highland Farms, Harris County, Texas.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Baytown will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, TX, giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation:

of approximately 0.47 acres, located along the east bound frontage road of I-10, approximately 2,536 feet east of Thompson Road, addressed as 2402 Interstate 10 Hwy, and legally described as Tract 2G-2, Block 2, Elena Fruit & Cotton Farms D, Harris County, Texas.

 NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Baytown will hold a public hearing on June 13, 2019, in the Council Chamber at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas, at 6:30 P.M., giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the following items:

1) the proposed rezoning of approximately 1.02 acres located at 2010 West Cedar Bayou Lynchburg, and legally described as Lot 44 Block 3 Northside Highland Farms, Harris County, Texas, from Open space/recreation ("OR") to General commercial ("GC") zoning district.

2) the proposed rezoning of approximately 1.02 acres located at 2306 Connally, and legally described as Lot 46 Block 1 Northside Highland Farms, Harris County, Texas, from Open space/recreation ("OR") to Low density single-family residential dwellings ("SF1") zoning district.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Baytown will hold public hearings (items 1 & 2) on May 21, 2019, and a public hearing (item 2) on June 18, 2019, in the Council Chambers at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, TX, at 5:00 P.M., giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the following items:

(1) the proposed replatting of approximately 0.34 acres, located at 4810 North Main Street, formerly known as Baytown Barber Shop, Harris County, Texas; and

(2) the proposed rezoning of approximately 0.46 acres including 2402 East Freeway, as part of and out of Tract 2G-2 Block 2 Elena Fruit & Cotton Farms D, Harris County, Texas, from Open space/recreation ("OR") to General commercial ("GC") zoning district.

(1) a Special Use Permit (SUP) as relates to the destruction of a structure with a nonconforming use for approximately 0.12 acres, located at 412 North Jones Street, zoned Mixed residential at low to medium densities (SF2) and legally described as Lots 15 & 16 Block 5, Martin (Baytown), Harris County, Texas.
