Public Hearing notices are posted on the City's notice boards and website, said notices are only maintained on the website until such time as the hearing date has passed.  Original documents are maintained in the City Clerk's Office for the designated retention period.  For more information regarding each notice, please refer to the department information listed on each notice, as the responsible party may vary.

May 21, 2019 Planning and Zoning Commission  NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Baytown will hold public hearings on April 16, 2019, and May 21, 2019, in the Council Chamber at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas, at 5:00 P.M., giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the following items:

(1) the proposed rezoning of approximately 1.02 acres located at 2010 West Cedar Bayou Lynchburg, and legally described as Lot 44 Block 3 Northside Highland Farms, Harris County, Texas, from Open space/recreation ("OR") to General commercial ("GC") zoning district.

(2) the proposed rezoning of approximately 1.02 acres located at 2306 Connally, and legally described as Lot 46 Block 1 North Side Highland Farms, Harris County, Texas, from Open space/recreation ("OR") to Low density single-family residential dwellings ("SF1") zoning district.

(3) the proposed rezoning of approximately 15 acres of a 45.5 arce tract located at 4021 East Freeway, and legally described as Tract 1 Block 46 Elena Fruit & Cotton Farms C, Harris County, Texas, from General commercial ("GC") and Mixed residential at low to medium densities ("SF2") to Mid-rise density mixed residential dwellings ("MF2") zoning districts.

 April 25, 2019 City Council  NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Baytown will hold public hearings on Thursday, April 25, 2019, in the Council Chambers at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas, at 6:30 P.M., giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the following items:

(1) the proposed rezoning of approximately 1.04 acres, a tract located at 1710 West Cedar Bayou Lynchburg, which is legally described as Lot 35, Block 3, North Side Addition, An Addition in Harris County, Texas, recorded in Volume 16 Page 34 of the Map Records, from an Open space/recreation (OR) zoning district to a General commercial (GC) zoning district;

(2) the proposed rezoning of approximately 3.94 acres at 8210 North Main Street located on the
east side of North Main Street south of East Wallisville Road, legally described as TR 8C-2, (15.86 SQ. FT. EASEMENT), Abstract 21 George Ellis, Harris County, Texas, from Open space/recreation (OR) to General commercial (GC) zoning district; and

(3) a proposed amendment to the Baytown 2025 Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Plan (FLUP) for properties generally located on both sides of the North Main corridor from its intersection with I-10 to its intersection with East Wallisville Road.

May 9, 2019  City Council  NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Baytown will hold public hearings on May 9, 2019, in the Council Chambers at Baytown City Hall, 2401 Market Street, Baytown, Texas, at 6:30 P.M., giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the following items:

(1) an amendment to the Baytown 2025 Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Plan as it relates to areas generally located along Barkaloo Road, south of its intersection with East Archer Road and north of its intersection with East Cedar Bayou Lynchburg Road in Harris County, Texas;

(2) a Special Use Permit for the reconstruction of a non-conforming use located at 5623 Barkaloo Road, approximately 2.00 acres of land, zoned Open space/recreation (OR) and legally described as TR 17A Abstract 297 of the HF Gillette Survey, Harris County, Texas; and

(3) a proposed amendment to the official zoning map to rezone approximately 2.00 acres, located at 5623 Barkaloo Road, legally described as TR 17A Abstract 297 of the HF Gillette Survey, Harris County, Texas, from an Open space/recreation (OR) zoning district to a Light industrial (LI) zoning district.
