The City of Baytown facilities and offices are open for business. Due to COVID-19 some departments may still be operating in a modified fashion. Please contact the department you plan to conduct business with directly if you have specific questions as to modification to services or location.

Independent Registered Municipal Advisor Certificate

By publicly posting the following written disclosure, the City of Baytown, Texas (the “City”) intends that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the independent registered municipal advisor exemption to the SEC Municipal Advisor Final Rule.

The City has retained an independent registered municipal advisor. The City is represented by and will rely on its municipal advisor, Hilltop Securities, to provide advice on proposals from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities. The individual with primary responsibility for advising the City on such matters is Mr. David Medanich. This certificate may be relied upon until withdrawn by the City of Baytown.
