COVID 19, or the Coronavirus

In accordance with the Stay Home, Work Safe order issued by Harris County, the City of Baytown has closed all City facilities to the public until April 30th . Following CDC guidelines, we have canceled all City events, programming, and City venue rentals until further notice.  Some  City services will continue to run, but in a modified format through digital or other distance means. We would like you to know that the City is in daily contact with State and County Health and Emergency Management Officials. We continue to address the situation in cooperation with all of our partners in government and industry. While you’re likely to see various reactions to the situation, we ask that you remain calm.  We will continue to keep you updated here and via our social media channels

SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES

The Baytown Fire Department, in cooperation with Enbridge, would like to see every house within the Baytown area have a working smoke detector.

If you live in the City limits of Baytown or the Baytown Fire Department's first due response area and own a single family house, not rental property, and do not have a working smoke detector, please fill out the form below and submit it to the fire department @ 201 E. Wye Dr., (behind the Police Station), 281-422-2311.

We will schedule to have an engine company come to your house and install a working smoke detector in you house, FREE OF CHARGE.

If you are a Senior Citizen, in the Baytown City limits, and need your smoke detector checked or the battery changed, contact us and we will come assist you with the maintenance of your smoke detector, FREE OF CHARGE.
