The Baytown Fire Training Field offers local fire departments and industrial fire brigades the opportunity to train without the expense of traveling. The Baytown field is constantly growing: we have just completed a technical rescue Area and have started the design of a 7,000 sq. ft., state of the art classroom facility and an industrial fire and Hazardous Materials training prop, along with additional props for the burn building.

The current two-story clean burn building meets all of the NFPA requirements and offers all the challenges of interior structure fire training., to help ensure that your fire crews have the necessary training to meet the task at hand.

The Technical Rescue Area includes a five-story tower that offers endless training opportunities for the beginner rescue technician to the advance rescue specialist. The rescue area also includes an underground confined space tunnel system that has the capabilities for removal breach panels that ties into a multi-level tank and a trench prop.

The City of Baytown offers many hotels, restaurants, and catering is available for those traveling to the field.

Field usage fees are based on the amount of training your organization desires to conduct during your visit. This allows each department to customize a training program specific to their needs. Courses are self-instructed by each department, however, at the request of your organization the Baytown Fire Department can provide certified instructors for an additional cost.

We invite you to come tour our training field and see if we can assist you with your training needs.
