July 4th Celebration

TheCity of Baytown’s annual July 4th Celebration is cancelled.  Baytown Parks & Recreation regrets to announce the cancellation of one of the most popular events of the year. The increased concern in the rapid rise of COVID-19 cases and the focus on community safety are the main reasons for the decision. Extensive discussion was conducted this week by city officials to determine potential modifications regarding the July 3rd and July 4th dates. Unfortunately, none of the options offered adequate safety measures for the community and city employees working to host the event.

Pop Up Parks

The Pop Up Park Series for the remainder of the season is cancelled. Baytown Parks & Recreation regretfully announces this news. Parks & Recreation will continue to post any future event updates and announcements.
