Join us every Tuesday for Yoga at the Community Center. Each week, instructor Nakia Foster will guide participants of all skill levels through a vinyasa style flow designed to link breath to movement to allow for a mindful flow between postures from the beginning to the end of the session. This style allows participants to awaken strength, flexibility, and energy in a fun atmosphere.

Yoga at the Community Center is $30.00 per 6 week session, or $5.00 per walk in class. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat and water.

KARATE- 2020

This program will teach the art, sport, kidnapping awareness, self-defense and self-confidence aspects of American Karate. It is a year round program. The same certified instructors since 1995. Try the first class for free to make sure you wish to sign up. Sign up your child and attend the class for free! Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga student are usually unable to participate in a traditional yoga class due to the effects of aging or disabilities. Chair yoga is a great practice for everyone, as it deepens flexibility and strengthens personal body awareness.

Saturday, February 29, 2020, 11:00am -1:30pm at the Baytown Community Center located at 2407 Market Street.

Come join us for a self-defense class that will give you the building blocks and self-confidence to defend yourself. We provide hand to hand experience and various scenarios to practice. If you attended the last Self-Defense class, this class will have more advanced techniques.

If you have been to one of these classes already, come get a refresher course and learn some of the updated material we have added.  Must sign waiver. 

NO FEE- Ages 13 and up Men and Woman are welcome

Enjoy an evening of free LIVE music and dancing with friends at the Golden Groove Senior Dances! Each dance will be held in the Baytown Community Center Auditorium and will feature a different live band. Bring a dish to share with the crowd, or just come to enjoy the music. Golden Groove Senior Dances are completely free of charge and are open to everyone ages 50+!

Baytown Ballroom Dance - 2020

Come join us every 3rd Friday of the month for a free dance from 7:00-10:00pm.  Want to learn to dance or have a refresher course? Lessons begin at 6:30pm. Open to all!


Join us on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for a free, one of a kind workout in the park! Make new friends, shake up your workout, and see real results each week in Town Square. This free program combines our Dance Fitness class with POUND fitness to offer you a fun, high energy workout program three days a week in Town Square!  Don't forget your water and mat!
