Pound Lights out

JOIN US FOR A POUND GLOW PARTY THAT YOU'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! We will ROCKOUT. WORKOUT. with the LIGHTS OUT! Friday, September 6th start time 6pm~ Baytown Community Center 2407 Market Street in the Auditorium

Come ready to ROCK in your most reflective, workout appropriate clothing! And be sure to bring your Yoga Mat! Everything glow!

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.

KARATE- 2019

This program will teach the art, sport, kidnapping awareness, self-defense and self-confidence aspects of American Karate. It is a year round program. The same certified instructors since 1995. Try the first class for free to make sure you wish to sign up. Sign up your child and attend the class for free! POUND

Monday, August 19th - September 30th 
Mondays and Wednesdays • 6:30pm-7:30pm
Session: 6 weeks  Fee: $60 session / Walk ins $7 per class

FREE CHAIR YOGA

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga student are usually unable to participate in a traditional yoga class due to the effects of aging or disabilities. Chair yoga is a great practice for everyone, as it deepens flexibility and strengthens personal body awareness.

Time: Every Tuesday •9AM- 9:40AM

No Fee. No Registration.  Must sign waiver. 

SELF DEFENSE

Saturday, October 12th , 11:00am -1:30pm at the Baytown Community Center located at 2407 Market Street.

Come join us for a self-defense class that will give you the building blocks and self-confidence to defend yourself. We provide hand to hand experience and various scenarios to practice. If you attended the last Self-Defense class, this class will have more advanced techniques.

If you have been to one of these classes already, come get a refresher course and learn some of the updated material we have added.  Must sign waiver. 

NO FEE- Ages 13 and up Men and Woman are welcome

GOLDEN GROOVE DANCE- 2019

Enjoy an evening of free LIVE music and dancing with friends at the Golden Groove Senior Dances! Each dance will be held in the Baytown Community Center Auditorium and will feature a different live band. Bring a dish to share with the crowd, or just come to enjoy the music. Golden Groove Senior Dances are completely free of charge and are open to everyone ages 50+!

FREE DANCE FITNESS
