COVID 19, or the Coronavirus

The City of Baytown facilities and offices are open for business. Due to COVID-19 some departments may still be operating in a modified fashion. Please contact the department you plan to conduct business with directly if you have specific questions as to modification to services or location.

We continue to follow CDC guidelines for the safety of our employees and citizens and will keep you updated via social media and other communication channels

COVID UPDATE: July 8, 2020

In order to continue operations while recognizing the safety of our citizens and employees, the Department will continue with our current hours of operations and all services.  We are making every attempt to limit in-person interactions by providing digital, remote, and/or telephonic options as much as possible.  If it is necessary to speak with someone in person, please consider making an appointment with the specific staff person.  This will allow the staff to make accommodations and be prepared to dedicate time to work with you.
