Public Works is responsible for maintaining approximately 400 miles of streets, 195 miles of curbs and gutters, 121 miles of sidewalks, 172 miles of storm sewers, 88 signalized intersections, 458 miles of water distribution lines, 430 miles of sanitary sewer lines, 82 lift stations, 8 elevated storage tanks, 4 well sites, 4 wastewater treatment plants and 1 surface water treatment plant.

Approximately 85,000 cubic yards of brush is collected curbside; 16,500 cubic yards of junk/construction debris is hauled from the Green Center; and 200 tons of material is recycled from the Green Center annually.
