Roseland Clubhouse
This project includes the construction of a new clubhouse at Roseland Park for the community and be available as a rentable space. The new building will provide barrier free access and will be relocated to the west side of the park near the volleyball court and splash pad.
BUDGET: $1,088,800.00
WHY is this project needed: The original clubhouse, built in the 1960's, had been flooded 3 times and was underwater for a week after Hurricane Harvey. It was also located too close to Cedar Bayou, so it has been relocated to the west side, where it will have a higher elevation. This building provided a key quality of life for city residents, hosting birthday parties and reunions. The goal is to bring this back into the City of Baytown and provide an additional rental space for residents to utilize and enjoy.
HOW LONG will this project take: This project will begin construction in December 2021.
WHAT are the project improvements: The clubhouse will include a catering kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and restrooms.

The Clubhouse at Roseland Park is complete! Rental availability will start in November.

October 4, 2023 update
Parks teams are installing acoustic panels at the Roseland Clubhouse.
August 24, 2023 update
Council is set to close the construction phase of Roseland clubhouse on the August 24th agenda.
June 12, 2023 update
New garage doors have been placed.
April 11, 2023 update
Interior work on the Roseland Clubhouse continues including flooring, lighting, and electrical.
February 28, 2023 Update
Safety railing has begun being placed along the exterior of the Clubhouse porch.
January 20, 2023 update
The wiring process of the building has begun and the outside lights are now on.

The sinks have been installed into the kitchen area.

The garage windows and brick have been placed to near the completion of the exterior look.

Sheetrock installation process has started.

The front porch with the painted exterior has progressed.

The Roseland Clubhouse walls are in place.

The support beams, walls, and the roof has gone up for the Roseland Clubhouse.

The foundation forms have been removed and the site is ready for the building phase.
