Request For Qualifications Kick-Off Meeting
Baytown Area Water Authority (BAWA) is planning to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to seek a Design-Builder for the expansion of their East Surface Water Treatment Plant. The BAWA East Surface Water Treatment Plant is situated at 5359 Grand Parkway South, Baytown, TX 77523-5119, within Chambers County, Texas. The project aims to increase the current capacity of the plant from 6 million gallons per day (MGD) to 12 MGD. This expansion will be carried out in two phases using the Progressive-Design Build Method.
To kick-off the RFQ process, BAWA will host an information session on October 31, 2023, at 10:00 am at the plant site. This meeting will serve to introduce the project, address any questions, and provide an extensive site tour. It is expected that the RFQ will be officially released either on the day of the kick-off meeting or shortly thereafter.
