[ARCHIVED] Hurricane Preparedness Week

Hurricane Season. FB (1)

In this National Hurricane Preparedness Week, it’s important to think about the devastating effects that a hurricane can leave on our properties. As such, it’s important to consider the possibility of purchasing flood insurance to help mitigate the costs of a flooded property in an unforeseen event.

The City of Baytown participates in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), which means that federally subsidized flood insurance is available to everyone in the community. There is a 30-day waiting period for a policy to take effect.
