The annual Nurture Nature Festival takes place at the Baytown Nature Center, located at 6213 Bayway Drive, on Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This free, family event introduces visitors to the reptiles, birds, fish and native plants of the Baytown area through fun activities for all interests and levels. Volunteers are used to run various activity booths throughout the event, including a dig pit, catfish farm, recycled seed cups, bird IDing, and more! Shifts are available 9 AM - 1 PM and 12 PM - 4 PM.
Volunteers will received a free t-shirt, free admission to the park, and lunch.
