Background

The applicant is requesting a SUP for an approximately 1,200 square foot carport that was constructed on the site at 1112 Kilgore Road. The site is approximately 2.96 acres, zoned SFE under the 2014 ULDC and currently does not have a prinicipal structure on the site.  Sec. 2.095 of the 2014 ULDC permits the construction of a residential accessory, such as a carport, for which no principal structure exists on property zoned SFE or SF1 with the issuance of a Special Use Permit.
