City Hosts Next Community Cleanup

The City of Baytown is hosting its next cleanup event to help spruce up your community.

Previously, the Baytown Health Department has hosted one big cleanup effort, but now that event has changed to better serve our neighborhoods. Instead of one event, there will now be four more localized cleanups throughout the city.

The next Community Cleanup will take place Saturday, June 8 from 9am-1pm at Lakewood Plaza, located near Meador Lane and Mayhaw Street.

Accepted Items:

Old furniture

General trash/rubbish

Remodeling debris

Junk

Tires

Items Not Accepted:

Hazardous waste

Commercial waste

Brush

Shingles

Bricks/Concrete

Oil

Household chemicals

Paint

Batteries

This is not to be confused with the Household Hazardous Waste event on the same day. We will be posting more information about other cleanups soon on baytown.org and the City of Baytown’s social media pages.
