In an effort to better assist residents who are still without power, the City’s cooling center has been relocated to the Red Cross Support Center and Shelter, inside the San Jacinto Christian Church at 710 Alamo Street. At this time, the Red Cross facility is open 24 hours a day and offers a place to sleep and recover. Hot meals will be provided, but pets are not allowed.
The Community Center will resume normal operations on Friday, July 12. Preparations are underway for
Friday’s food distribution event that will take place in the Community Center parking lot from 11am-2pm, while supplies last.
