The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that low-interest federal disaster loans are available for Baytown residents and businesses who were impacted by Hurricane Beryl.
Disaster loans of up to $500,000 are available to homeowners to repair or replace damaged or destroyed homes, in addition to up to $100,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property, including vehicles.
Businesses, regardless of size, and non-profit organizations can borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace structures, equipment, and other business assets.
