Did you know it’s important to separate your debris and to place it curbside, away from roadways and sidewalks? These details, including how much debris has been collected, can be found by visiting baytown.org/1404.

Here’s the latest storm debris collection information as of July 30:

GREEN CENTER

The Green Center has returned to normal business hours. It is open 7 days a week from 8am-6pm.

THIS WEEK

Debris collection will be dedicated to zones 1, 3 and 4 will be picked up this week, with an emphasis on:

Zone 1:

  • Whispering Pines
  • Massey Tompkins

Zone 3:

  • Lakewood
  • Missouri Street

Zone 4:

  • Glenwood
  • Greywood
  • Country Club
  • Craigmont

TYPE OF DEBRIS

Vegetation is currently the focus of the debris collection.

KEEP IT SEPARATED

Make sure each type of debris is separated in order for crews to collect. Categories include:

  • Household Trash and Recycling
  • Appliances, Furniture, and White Goods
  • Construction Debris
  • Vegetative Debris

TOTALS SO FAR

Since the debris collection process started, 1,013 loads of debris have been collected, totaling 41,601 cubic yards. These numbers will change every Monday.

Debris will be collected multiple times in each zone.
