Storm Debris Collection Update: August 8
New neighborhoods have been added as storm debris collection crews continue their efforts. Remember to keep your debris piles separated like in the picture below. It’s also important to move vehicles away from debris so that these trucks can be picked up.

THIS WEEK’S COLLECTION EFFORTS
Debris collection will be dedicated to zones 1, 3 and 4, with an emphasis on:
Zone 1:
- Kilgore, near Cedar Bayou
- Pinehurst
- Parkwood Place
Zone 3:
- Brownwood
- Baytown Heights
- Lakewood
Zone 4:
- Allenbrook
- Parkridge Bend
- Glen Arbor
- Greywood

TYPE OF DEBRIS
Vegetation is currently the focus of the debris collection.
GREEN CENTER OPEN
If you would like to drop off some of your debris, you can visit the Green Center. For a list of what’s accepted and other requirements, visit baytown.org/1227.
TOTALS SO FAR
Since the debris collection process started, 1,415 loads of debris have been collected, totaling 64,594 cubic yards. These numbers will change every Monday.
Debris will be collected multiple times in each zone.
DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER OPEN
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) have established a Disaster Recovery Center at the Baytown Community Center. It is open Monday-Saturday from 8am-6pm.
