Golf Course Exit Strategy Moves Forward

The City of Baytown continues its exit strategy for Tabbs Bay Golf Course following the city council’s decision to end the management contract with Troon Golf, LLC and officially close the course by April 9.

City leadership is actively working through landscaping and equipment obligations, ensuring a smooth transition. Additionally, council approved a financial commitment of up to $325,000 to cover outstanding invoices already in process.

While the future of the property continues to be evaluated, it will be maintained as part of Baytown’s public parks system until then.
