The Wait Is Over: First Stores Announced for San Jacinto Marketplace

The wait is over, as Fidelis Realty Partners, LTD announces the first list of stores coming to the highly anticipated San Jacinto Marketplace.

Since breaking ground last October, Fidelis has worked closely with the City of Baytown to finalize site plans, navigate zoning requirements, and secure lease agreements with tenants.

A New Chapter in Baytown Shopping

In March, it was announced that Sam’s Club would be part of the development. The 169,570-square-foot location will introduce a next-generation concept, offering a modern, tech-forward shopping experience unlike others in the region.

You knew that name though. So, what else is coming to Baytown?

What’s Coming?

  • Dick’s Sporting Goods, a national sporting-goods giant, is bringing its first store to the east side of Houston, making Baytown a destination for active shoppers.
  • Barnes & Noble, the iconic bookstore, will bring its beloved shelves and community-friendly space to the Marketplace.
  • Bath & Body Works fans won’t have to travel far, as this popular retailer is setting up shop along Garth Road.
  • For those who love home decor, HomeGoods is coming to town, offering everything from furniture to seasonal finds.

New Dining Options

Baytown residents have been asking for new dining options and the Marketplace is stepping up.

  • Portillo’s, known for its Chicago-style street food, is opening one of only three locations in the entire Houston area, and Baytown made the list.
  • Joining them are Pluckers Wing Bar, a Texas favorite, and Bubba’s 33, offering casual dining with burgers, pizza, and more.

More Retail and Recreation

Additional stores announced include:

  • Haverty’s Furniture
  • EOS Fitness
  • Five Below

The second round of announcements, which will include ten more stores, is expected soon.

Fidelis is incentivized by the City of Baytown for new businesses brought to the San Jacinto Marketplace. The partnership is performance-based, ensuring that taxpayer support is tied to economic growth and new options for Baytown residents.
