The City of Baytown recognizes October as National Community Planning Month. At the recent City Council meeting, Mayor Brandon Capetillo presented the Planning and Development Services team with a proclamation regarding this important month.
National Community Planning Month provides the City with an opportunity to highlight the contributions of our planners, the implementation of their plans, and to recognize those with the Planning and Zoning Commission, who have contributed their expertise to the improvement of the City of Baytown.
Mayor Capetillo said, “It’s a lot of work, but we are fortunate and blessed to be a growing city. It does come with challenges, but you all are the department that goes and addresses that kind of growth. We applaud you all for handling the uphill battle with what comes through your offices. I want to personally thank you for that.”
Thank you to everyone with Baytown’s Planning and Development Services Department for everything they do to make a Better Baytown.
